Courtney
Astore

Courtney is a graduate from the University of Central Florida with Bachelors degrees in Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences as well as a minor in Mathematics. She recently graduated with a Masters in Bioinformatics from Georgia Tech and is currently pursuing a PhD in Bioinformatics under the mentorship of Professor Greg Gibson and Professor Jeffrey Skolnick. Courtney's thesis is focused on developing computational tools for phenotypic drug discovery and applying those tools to further understand disease origins and specific disease cases such as COVID-19 and IBD.
