I recently received my bachelor's degree in Biotechnology with a specialization in Bioinformatics from India. During my final year, I interned at Genomiki Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi where I was responsible for running and automating NGS pipelines and I worked primarily on clinical WES datasets.
Currently, I work at the Laboratory of Lymphatic Engineering (The Dixon Lab) at Gatech in collaboration with the Spangle Lab at Emory. My work involves a multi-omics approach in the study of pediatric lymphatic cancer malformations.
If I’m not typing away at my computer, you’ll find me with a pair of binoculars in one hand and a camera in the other as I look for birds around me. I hope to soon incorporate my research skills with this decade-long hobby to study the evolutionary impact of environmental pressures on migratory birds through genomic studies.
I have a wide set of Research Interests, mostly towards Human Health and Diseases.
Computational Genomics, Next Generation Sequencing, Precision Medicine and Predictive Health, Cancer Bioinformatics, Common Complex Diseases, Single Cell Sequencing.
