I work at the Torres Lab at Georgia Tech, where we focus on Post-Translational Modifications (PTMs) and intrinsic disorder to understand how they regulate protein structure, function and cell behavior. My work has involved ML models that predict novel functional PTM sites and curating a dbPTM phosphosite database annotated with disorder information. I am currently tuning Large Language Models to detect Molecular Recognition Feature (MoRF) triggers in structural proteomics publications. Through my roles in the industry, I also have experience with fine-tuning language models to solve NLP and structural biology problems . You can find me on LinkedIn.
