I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia in Canada receiving my BSc in Microbiology in 2021. From there I went on to work for an industry environmental lab conducting QC analysis, then later switched to working in my local hospital's outpatient lab handling and analyzing various forms of specimen samples. Currently, I am working with Dr. Sam Brown's research group training machine learning models to identify epidemic and non-epidemic strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa within Cystic Fibrosis patients.
I am currently interested in exploring the applications of Artificial Intelligence for Precision Medicine, Drug Discovery, and Big Data Analytics, specifically through Machine and Deep Learning models.
