Graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry from UGA, currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Bioinformatics at Georgia Tech.
 

During undergraduate study, I was a UGA biochemistry student who learned lab techniques by participating in an undergraduate research program with Dr. Barb’s lab from Jan to Dec in 2020. Dr. Barb’s research group produced antibodies through the amplification of recombinant plasmids containing gene sequence(s) of interest using E. coli bacteria.

Employed as a microbiologist I at ASRT for one year, position funded by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Working in the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic and Infectious Diseases (NCEZID), Division of Scientific Resources (DSR).
