Hi!
I am Nia, a passionate professional with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Health and Medical Sciences from Georgia Tech (Class of 2022). Following my undergraduate studies, I took a gap year to delve into the practical aspects of healthcare by working as a medical assistant in an orthopedic office. This experience not only provided me with valuable insights into patient care but also fueled my interest in exploring the convergence of medical science and computational analysis.
Currently, I am actively engaged in research while pursuing a Master's degree in Bioinformatics. My academic journey reflects my commitment to gaining a comprehensive understanding of health and medicine, combining a strong foundation in biochemistry with hands-on experience in clinical settings. I am excited to contribute to the forefront of genomics research, leveraging computational techniques to interpret biological data and ultimately make meaningful contributions to advancements in medical research and data-driven healthcare solutions.
