Research Interests
I'm really curious about how our brains grow and develop, especially how both our genes (nature) and our experiences (nurture) shape that process. Right now, I’m working on a project that studies how light can influence brain development. I'm especially interested in figuring out how certain genes are turned on or off in response to light, and how these changes affect brain growth. I'm also exploring how these gene networks might be connected to brain-related diseases.
My broader goal is to harness bioinformatics and computational tools to untangle the complexity of brain development. By working with large-scale biological data, I aim to uncover meaningful patterns and regulatory pathways that can deepen our understanding of how the brain grows and how this process can go wrong in neurological disorders.
