Nikesh graduated with a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Diego. As an undergrad, he worked with HIV and developed skills in numerous molecular biology wetlab techniques. Currently, he is working in Dr. Samuel Brown's lab, analyzing microbiome sequencing data for cystic fibrosis patients.
